Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Go Video Tube (“the App”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use our iOS application. By using the App you agree to the practices described here. The short version: Go Video Tube has no user accounts and does not require sign-in. Your library, history, playlists and imported files stay on your device. We use Google AdMob to show ads and Google Firebase for anonymous usage analytics and feature configuration. We do not sell your personal data. 1. Information we do NOT collect We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or any account credentials. We do not access your contacts, calendar, health, or location for our own use. Your watch history, liked videos, playlists, downloads and imported media are stored only on your device and are never uploaded to our servers. 2. Information stored on your device The following is kept locally on your iPhone and can be erased anytime from You → Delete local data: App settings (theme, language, playback quality, content region). Watch history, liked videos, playlists and “Watch Later”. Media you import into the Files tab or File Vault (videos, music, photos, documents). 3. Photos, Files & Face ID Photos / Files access is used only when you choose to import media into the App. Imported files are copied into the App’s private storage and stay on your device. Face ID / Touch ID is used only to unlock the optional File Vault. Biometric authentication is handled entirely by iOS — the App never sees or stores your biometric data. 4. Advertising (Google AdMob) The App displays ads through Google AdMob. To serve ads, AdMob may access the device advertising identifier (IDFA) and collect ad-interaction and coarse (non-precise) device data. On iOS you will be asked, via Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt, whether to allow tracking; if you decline, you will still see ads but they will be non-personalized. Users in the EEA/UK are shown a consent form (Google User Messaging Platform) before ads load. Learn more: How Google uses information from AdMob. 5. Analytics & configuration (Google Firebase) Firebase Analytics collects anonymous usage events (e.g. which screens are opened, a video was played, a search was made) and standard device information (device model, OS version, app version, region) to help us understand how the App is used and improve it. These events are not linked to your real identity. Firebase Remote Config is used to enable or disable app features remotely. It does not collect personal data. Learn more: Firebase Privacy & Security. 6. Third-party content The App lets you browse and play video content that is hosted by third parties. Your interaction with that content may also be subject to the privacy policies of those third parties. We do not control and are not responsible for their practices. 7. Data sharing We do not sell your personal information. Data is shared only with the service providers named above (Google AdMob and Google Firebase) strictly to operate the ads and analytics described in this policy, and where required by law. 8. Children Go Video Tube is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. 9. Your choices Turn tracking on/off via Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking on iOS. Reset your advertising identifier via iOS Settings. Erase all locally stored data in the App via You → Delete local data. Delete the App to remove all of its on-device data. 10. Changes to this policy We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest revision. Frequently asked questions Do I need an account to use the app? No. Go Video Tube works without any sign-in. Your library, history and settings are stored directly on your device. How do I play a video in the background or as audio only? Open a video, tap Listen to switch to audio mode, or make sure Background play is enabled in Settings. Audio then keeps playing when you lock the screen or leave the app. How do I change the content country/region? On the Home screen, tap the flag button at the top-left and choose a country. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Go Video Tube mobile application (“the App”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App. 1. License We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and the Apple App Store Licensed Application End User License Agreement. 2.
